Search tips

1. To do a search:
   1. Choose a search type;
   2. Type in the surname (or part of it);
   3. Choose other search criteria; and
   4. Select "Go!".
2. To search on part of a surname be sure to choose one of the search types "like", "begins" or "ends". "Like" has the widest scope because it tries to match your input everywhere in a surname - beginning, end and middle.
3. To search using a whole surname choose the type "same as".
4. The search will not run unless you change at least one of the default search settings.
5. The search function is not case-sensitive.
